LRC Track Record

Is the model winning?

Every LRC Stock Scanner rating is saved automatically every day and measured afterwards against the market. Nothing is back-filled or edited — this is the live record from the first day the scanner ran. Use the JSE / New York switch at the top of the page.

HOW TO JUDGE IT The model is working when (1) BUY-rated names beat the market average and SELL-rated names lag it, (2) the BUY line on the chart sits above the ALL line and the SELL line below it, and (3) hit rates stay above 50%. One week of data proves nothing — look at months. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Rating baskets — growth of 100

Equal-weighted baskets rebuilt daily from that day's ratings. If the model adds value, BUY rises above ALL and SELL falls below it.

Returns by rating

Average price return after each period, the difference to the market average (all companies scanned in that market) and the hit rate (BUY: share that rose; SELL: share that fell; HOLD: share that moved less than 5%).

Trade setups — outcomes

Each breakout/retest plan is followed for 30 days after its entry triggers: did the price reach target 1 before the stop?
